Let’s dive in SaveUp

What is SaveUp?

SaveUp is an AI-powered financial management app designed to help users take control of their finances, automate savings, and make smarter investment decisions. Tailored to fit diverse financial needs, it offers personalized budgeting tools, spending insights, and goal-based savings plans to reduce financial stress and promote long-term security.

Business Goals & Objectives

SaveUp aims to provide an intuitive, engaging experience that encourages financial management while driving subscription revenue through premium AI-driven insights. Trust and credibility are built with transparency, security, and accessible education, while advanced automation simplifies financial planning. The ultimate goal is to enhance users’ financial well-being with personalized budgeting, automated savings, and actionable insights.

My research Methods

I conducted competitive analysis to identify market gaps and user pain points, focusing on simplifying budgeting and usability. Then, i designed an intuitive, secure interface with well-structured navigation and optimized user journeys. I also developed wireframes and an interactive prototype for testing and refinement before final development.

Competitive Analysis & Opportunities

I analyzed top financial apps, identifying opportunities for deeper personalization, goal-based savings, AI-driven investments, and simplified budgeting. The main key gaps include stress-free financial planning, beginner-friendly coaching, and intuitive insights for non-tech-savvy users.

Design Goals

SaveUp builds trust with clear AI-driven insights, robust security, and transparent fees while simplifying financial planning through AI recommendations and visual projections. Personalized budgeting, integrated financial education, and an intuitive UI enhance user experience. Automation and smart alerts enable effortless savings, timely reminders, and stress-free financial management.

SaveUp’s information architecture ensures clarity and ease of navigation with a structured, hierarchical layout for quick access to core features. Progressive disclosure minimizes cognitive load, while smart search enhances usability. This design optimizes engagement and simplifies financial management.

Engaged by goal simulations and automated investments, he stays motivated with progress reports and market insights, making retirement planning effortless.

Sketch to wireframe

The process of sketching SaveUp began with understanding the core problem the app aimed to solve: helping users manage their finances effortlessly with AI-driven automation.

Here’s how I approached the initial sketches: research & understanding users, defining the information architecture, rough Hand-Drawn Sketches (Low-Fidelity Wireframes) and digital Wireframes & User Flow Testing.

Wireframes

I designed low fidelity wireframes to high fidelity wireframes. Then I established the design System, high-Fidelity UI designs and an
interactive prototype for final testing

From High-Fidelity to Prototype

Once the high-fidelity designs were finalized, I transformed them into an interactive prototype to simulate real user interactions. This stage focused on refining user flows, transitions, and micro-interactions to ensure a smooth and engaging experience.

Final Design

SaveUp’s final design evolved through user-centered iteration, refining features based on research and testing. Prototypes validated AI-driven insights, financial tools, and automation, leading to visual and interactive enhancements. The result is a simple yet powerful interface that personalizes financial management for diverse user needs.
